Captain Geoff Page proved to be a prophet. His prep work for the seminar showed that the tides for this event would not be good for fishing. That plus the cold did make for a rough day. The biggest winner of this tourney is My Warriors Place. Proceeds will go to pay TECO bills.

Kids Division: Prizes were provided by Butch and Val from Boat Steering Rebuilders

Adam Maysles fished with his Dad Corey and caught the longest trout for the event. A beauty that was
15 1/4". This was Adam's first SSA event and hopefully he'll make many more! (His Dad had a 35red
of 26 1/2"). Adam gets a trip to T A Mahoney with a $75 gift certificate.

Adult Division:

This is SSA's only tournament that can have an angler win all 3 prizes. A few have won 2 and now Tony
Prevatt can lay claim to being the 1st to win all 3! He remembered hearing that it's wise to take a pic of
all your catches on tourney day and snapped one of his 12" trout. It was the only trout turned in by an adult. His 35 1/2" red was a personal best and that gave him the longest red, trout and combined total.
His winnings totaled a value of $1150:
A weekend stay at The Dream Inn at Anna Maria
A Wang Anchor System
A $500 LoadMaster Trailer Gift Certificate
LoadMaster's Pam Paulsen was on hand to help with the presentations and draw the raffle winners.

San Vito's Italian Restaurant was the venue for the weigh-in and all agreed that the food was GREAT!

Some photos to recap the event...

Winner...Tony P with a sweep.

Southshore Angler broom brigade showed up to honor the sweep. "All hail Tony!!"

The winning hooker...

I went for the largest "real" trash can slam...

Here's my largest cooler photo, I also landed a 12 oz. Dasani water bottle, but it was so cold I couldn't close out the slam with a plastic bag.

This was a personal best cooler for me.  I was barely able to get it in the kayak.  Fortunately the Gotti's didn't leave any presents in it. "Yo Gino...where's Paulie at?"

Thanks again guys!

The irony of the Trout is if the Pretty In Pink shirt was given out I would have had to wear it in the next tournament.
