All of us have busy lives, family, careers and trying to get some time on the water.

Thank goodness for Dennis O'Hern and The Fishing Rights Alliance. Denny has made it easy for anglers to stay on top of fishing regulations by creating thefra.org.

Check out this site. Use the bullet points to educate yourself and then call or email state and federal officials to voice your concern about fishing regulations and sector separation.

Yes, it will take a few minutes, but it will add hours of quality time to the sport we all love. Don't think that because you're an inshore or fresh water angler that this won't affect you. Making a natural resource a cash cow for the government and a few investors is about to impact all anglers and local economies. Check out the types of business recreational fishing helps and think about reducing this tourist industry. It's not just guides, tackle shops and the marine industry. Airlines, hotel/motel/resorts, restaurants, convenience stores, amusement parks etc... will be hit by these new regulations. All of these tourist industries being reduced will also create less tax money for the state to do business.

Dennis O'Hern has made it easy for anglers to make a call or send an email to fight these new regulations, use this resource and help make a difference.
