For the 4th year !Voice Foundation held a great tourney for pediatric cancer. 5 SSA members fished
in the event. Tiger, Donald, David, Mike and I worried about the weather reports all week and once
again the meteorologist were wrong. Mostly sunny with light winds and calm water made for a nice
day in the upper bay. Donald was a big winner in the amateur division taking 1st place for longest
trout & snook. Fishing with a guide Mike had the longest red and David spent his raffle money wisely
and won an assortment of MirroLure items. All of us caught fish and 3 nice mangrove snapper and
a flounder were invited home for dinner.

How wrong was the weather forecast? David and I wore our face masks all afternoon and the ride
back to the weigh-in could have been done with a skate board the water was so flat calm. We had
a great time and helped 1Voice raise some money for pediatric cancer.

We had a very fun day fishing for a great cause. I wish the tides were better that day but overall it was an easy relaxing day on the water. Something I learned that day is always send a picture of your fish even if you think it is small. Donald won a $100 for a trout I wouldn't have thought had a chance in a million years. Donald and I did very well on the raffles to top off a great day on the water. Next year I would love to see more boats on the water for this tournament.

Here's what I won.
