I fish 2 times a week and for the past 1 1/2 years I always at least get 1 redfish. My past 4 trips and I just seem to be on a redfish-less streak. I have been to all my top spots with shrimp, whitebait, threaddies, spoons, spook jrs, and everything I can think of. Is anyone else having trouble getting the reds to bite or is it just me? I have been on the flats and fishing the mangrove edges and fishing huge schools of mullet. My only guess is with the abundance of bait they are just full. I am stumped and frustrated

Since the patterns are 2-3 wks. ahead, I'm thinking early or late fishing for reds.

I've heard the same complaint about not finding them. I targeted them last Tues. around lots of mullet and in spots where outgoing should have made the bite good with no luck. If I fish this w.e. it will be early with top water!

I have been launching at 5 A.M. I am just completely stumped. I was fishing around thousands of mullet and nothing. I have posted this on another forum and except 1 or 2 people the rest said it has been slow also.
