Hello SSA. My name is Stuart, and I live in Valrico.
Back in the 70's and 80's, I lived in the New Smyrna Beach area, and was an avid fisherman. Would fish Ponce Inlet, the Indian Rjver, and every now and again would poke down toward Oak Hill and the lagoon.
For reasons left undisclosed, I moved to Minnesota where I eventually met my wife. Then came the kids, and fishing was not even an option.
Moved back to FL in 96, but kids and family was still my big time consumer. As the kids grew, time became available and one day Debbie tells me to get a hobby. That's a no brainer.
So I started fishing again, mostly out of the Ft Desoto area.
I then bought a kayak, and then a Gheenoe.
I'm learning the tactics of skinny water, and look forward to meeting you, going to meetings to learn and share.

Welcome...we have a slew of online videos that can help with decreasing that learning curve.  The table of contents is here - we have some of the best local guides in there.  You can scroll up to see the pre-2015 videos as well. Search on the specie you are interested in.

Personally I'm a big fan of the CA Richardson videos.

Fall through Spring I kayak, Spring through summer I typically powerboat (for poon).

Swing by to one of our meetings and have a couple cold ones - Steve Hoffman runs the show.  You can ask for him or me (John - the IT guy).  Just remember...
